Maridadi villa is one of Bali's very few absolute ocean front villas located on a cliff with access to Cemagi Beach. Villa Maridadi is located just beyond the quiet and picturesque Balinese Village of Mengening along a winding village road lined with paddy fields and featuring substantial Balinese Temples and massive Banyan Trees. Only 30 minutes from the many popular restaurants and shops of Seminyak and approximately 45 minutes drive to Ngurah Rai International Airport. For the golf enthusiasts, the Nirwana Bali Golf Course - Le Meridien Hotel and the famous Tanah Lot Temple a less than 10 minutes drive. The Nusa Dua Golf and Bali Handara Golf course an equal distance one hour's drive away.

Agung) to the north. Set on a 4,050 square meter, gently sloping grounds, studded with coconut palms and fragrant frangipani trees with a crystal clear 20 meter x 5 meter lap swimming pool this home is wonderful retreat, far from the gaiety of tourist Bali.

The villa was design and built by the same international group who built the Four Seasons Hotel in Bali, and is refreshingly uncomplicated and simple in design with the sympathetic use of traditional Balinese architectural concept and utilization of the best of local timbers and handcrafted stones and offers you every modern amenity.

Only 30 minutes from the many popular Restaurants and shopping centre of Kuta - Seminyak, for the best Golf in Asia is Bali Nirwana Golf Club get less than 10 minutes away, from Denpasar International Airport is only 45 minutes.

Villa Maridadi Rooms

The five bedrooms are all air-conditioned with the additional benefit of overhead ceiling fans and built in wardrobes. Each bedroom is at ground floor level and enjoys ocean views and the luxury of an en-suite garden bathroom. The master bedroom features teak-wood floors and sliding glass doors, which open on to an outdoor verandah furnished with daybeds and rattan chairs. Guests will be lulled to sleep by the constant murmur of the waves in an antique four-poster bed complete with diaphanous drapes. Each romantic garden bathroom is walled for privacy and is characterised an open-air shower, whimsical stone carvings and an impressive array of tropical plants and shrubs. The bathrooms adjoining the master bedroom and the two main guestrooms each have a large bathtub that is protected from the elements by a thatched roof. Following the symmetrical theme, the two guest pavilions are mirror images of each other, each one a self-contained pavilion with teak floors, sliding glass doors, a canopied bed, an open verandah, and a cream terrazzo bathroom suite within a pretty garden bathroom planted with peace lilies. The remaining two bedrooms, and their adjoining bathrooms, are located on the ground floor of the main building; each room is furnished with antique twin trundle beds, making them ideal for children.

Another large lawn to the north of the main building makes a great play area and is suitable for badminton or volley ball. A door in the wall leads to the villa’s shared tennis court, and the staff quarters are situated near the main entrance. The beach is just a few metres away from the property, bordered by a track and a low cliff, and easily accessible. The currents are strong, however, and swimming is not recommended.

Seasonal Period:

High Season: 15th December to 15th January, Easter Week, Chinese New Year, 15th July to 15th September

Low Season: All other times of the year.

January 16th to July 14th, September 16th to December 14th

Minimum Stay

The minimum stay requirement Villa varies from a 3 to 6 consecutive night stay for the low season. The minimum stay for the high season often increases to a 10 consecutive night stay.

NUMBER OF GUESTS

Our villas have a maximum number of guests, as detailed in our villa descriptions, which we ask to be respected. If you wish to have additional guests we need to be informed prior to receipt of deposit payment.

CHECK-OUT TIME

The standard villa check out time is 12.00pm. Depending on the season we are happy to be flexible. Late check out after 6.00pm may incur a half-day rental fee.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS

The airport transfer is included in the price.

CHANGES TO RESERVATION

We are happy to assist you if you need to make changes to a reservation as long as the villa dates are open.

SECURITY DEPOSITS

Security deposits are required for villa booking. Special large events such as weddings usually incur a security deposit. Deposits monies are to be paid with the balance payment, and will be refunded in full on the day of departure. In the case that some damage or repair are required to be done, refunds will be made by bank cheque/transfer less cost of damages.

TELEPHONE CHARGE BOND

If you do not wish to use the villa telephone, the telephone can be disconnected for the rental period. It is also very easy to purchase local 'Halo Telephone Cards" to use in your mobile hand phone.

Should you require the use of the villa telephone, we will need a bond by way of a Credit Card imprint or US$200 in cash as a form of deposit/security. We cannot always receive a detailed statement from "Telkom" the national telephone company prior to a guest's departure. Upon receipt of the telephone statement we will forward you a copy of the statement detailing the telephone calls, together with an authorization for a Credit Card Debit Authorization form for you to approve and sign for the agreed amount.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Villa will not be liable to the client or their guests for any personal injury, sickness, loss or damage to their personal belongings during their stay and any inconvenience arising from exceptional weather conditions or unique Balinese festivals. Every effort is made to ensure that the villa is presented to meet it's required standard for all bookings.

DEPOSIT PAYMENT

To secure the booking we require your written confirmation to book the villa. We will then send you a pro forma invoice for a deposit payment, which is 50% of the total rental outlay. Payments can be made by bank Telegraphic Transfer (TT)

BALANCE PAYMENT

The balance of payment is required a full 45 days prior to arrival, 60 days for Christmas/New Year bookings, or immediately if the booking is made less than 45 days prior to arrival.

As all villa bookings are on a first come first serve basis, we recommend that you settle the payment as soon as possible. Upon receipt of your written confirmation to book a villa we can hold the villa booking open for 7 full workings days to allow for the process of payment.

CANCELLATIONS

Villa must receive notice of any villa booking cancellation in writing. If it is possible for us to change your booking, your Deposit will be refunded in full, less a US$200 administration fee, if the reservation is cancelled 61 days prior or more prior to arrival (90 days for Christmas bookings). In the event a reservation is cancelled less than 61 days prior to arrival the deposit will be forfeit. Final payments are non refundable.
