Villa Amala Bali Location

Amala is situated on the edge of a padi field, overlooking the river Wos. It sits between the villages of Sebali and Keliki, in the province of Tegallalang, Ubud. It is an hour’s ride from Bali’s Ngurah Rai airport, and only a 15 minute car ride from the famed centre of art and culture – Ubud.

With five ensuite guestrooms, it can accommodate up to 10 people comfortably. Made up of two houses connected by a walkway, the main house overlooks the 20m pool and padi fields, while the valley house sits on the edge of a ridge which over looks the lush valley of the river Wos.

The layout of Amala Ubud allows two families with children to holiday very comfortably and with enough living areas to afford adequate privacy. Alternatively it is also a suitable get-away for 4–5 couples to “chill out” in the peaceful and harmonizing atmosphere of Sebali.

The main house contains a open dining area and large daybed overlooking the 20m pool and padi fields. It also houses the library, kitchen, a powder room and on the second level the master bedroom. The Master bedroom has a spacious veranda with two daybeds at each end. It is one of two rooms in the estate that has an exposed alang alang roof. The bathroom contains a bathtub cum shower and also an outdoor shower on the terrace.

The valley house has a open living area on the top floor with wide open verandas for dining al fresco. It also boasts a immense alang alang roof. Below this are two guest rooms sharing a veranda that overlook the valley. Both rooms are ensuite with partial outdoor showers and baths.

On the ground level of the valley house there is a second master bedroom with a indoor bath and shower overlooking the valley as well as a outdoor shower in its own private garden.

Next to this is the TV room with a projector and screen to watch movies or catch the latest news on satellite TV. Alternatively this room is easily converted into another guest room with ensuite bathroom. A veranda fronts these two rooms and allows guests to walk out to the valley garden or have breakfast with the morning sun rising over the valley. A bale sits at the edge of the garden overlooking the valley and rice terraces.

- There is a 20m lap pool where guests can swim for exercise or have a leisurely dip. Deck chairs are provided poolside for sunbathing.

- A table tennis table is provided for guests’ enjoyment.

- Yoga classes can be arranged by our Villa manager by experienced teachers.

- Massage and spa treatments can be arranged in the privacy of your room.

- Movies can be viewed in our projection room which has facilities for connection to laptops and dvd players .Both the projection room and library have satellite television connection with a varied choice of channels including the BBC & CNN.

Rate inclusion:

Seasonal Periods:
Low Season period: Jan 9 – Jun 30, Sep 16 – Dec 18, except Chinese New Year and Easter week
High season period: Jul 1 - Sep 15, Dec 19 – Jan 8, Chinese New Year and Easter week

Booking Procedures:
- A 50% down payment is required to secure the booking
- the payment should be in US Dollars
- reservation to be confirmed when the deposit is received by the villa
- the balance of payment should be settle prior of arrival date (at 30 days) or accepted to settle upon check-in unless for last minutes booking.
- High/Peak season and Christmas/New Year periods that the remaining due balance should be settle 45 days prior arrival to the villa.

Cancellation Policy:
1). Notice of cancellation must be received by the villa in writing either by Fax or email at least 30 days prior to arrival for Low Season, 45 days prior to arrival for High Season and 61 days for Peak Season bookings.
2). Deposit will be refunded in full less US$250.00 if the booking is cancelled 61 days or more prior to arrival (91 days for Christmas/New Year bookings).
3). In the event of reservation is cancelled less then stated of seasonal periods mentioned above, however the deposit has been paid will be forfeited.4). Balance Payments is non-refundable.
