Welcome to Villa Griya Atma ("The Abode of the Soul" in Sanskrit), located in the friendly village of Tengkulak Kelod, near Ubud. Overlooking a landscape of rice fields and forest, you will find calm and relaxation, while you are only a short drive away from the cultural and artistic experience of Ubud and nearby villages.

Villa Griya Atma Rooms

Griya Atma is a four bedroom villa. The name Griya Atma means "Abode of the Soul". The villa is designed as a modern interpretation of Balinese traditional living, each room on ground floor opens on a wide patio.

The Master bedroom faces the rice fields and the infinity swimming pool. It has en-suite bathroom with bathtub and an outdoor shower. It also has a indoor daybed. Two other bedrooms on ground floor face the swimming pool. Both have indoor and outdoor bathroom with showers. The fourth bedroom, on second floor faces other rice fields. It is also a study and has its own lounge with sofa and TV. It has en-suite bathroom with indoor shower.

The dining / living room opens on the garden, the swimming pool and rice fields. A family room faces the back garden with a fish and turtle pond. Children love to play in the family room, in times of rain.
All rooms have air conditioning and fan.
 

 

Villa Griya Atma Services Facilities

The villas' staff consists of 11 : 1 cook, 6 waiters and room attendants, 1 pool attendant and maintenance man, 1 gardener, 2 night watchmen. The villa manager will welcome you upon arrival. She will visit you during your stay to check whether everything goes fine.

The villas are fitted with modern facilities, telephone connection to all rooms as well as to kitchens, the office and security post, wired and wireless broadband internet and cable TV.
Note about broadband internet : please remember that you are in Bali and nothing goes at light speed here, internet connection is not an exception. We have ample electrical capacity to power all the above and to keep the villas cool, and a 30 kVA generator for the occasional power cuts, which are part of the life, here.
Through an agreement with a local group of drivers, we provide 1 car per villa for the entire duration of the guests' stay. Their cars are new generation Kijangs, comfortably seating up to 6 adults. The driver's knowledge of Bali, including the most remote and "off the beaten track" roads is exceptional.
The Bale Bengong (one in each villa) are used for giving massages, thanks to an agreement with one group of traditional massage ladies.
We can also organize, courtesy of an agreement with the local village dance school, a show of traditional Balinese dances in the villa itself. English and French speaking guide can be arranged upon request.

The rates above are inclusive of 21% to government tax & service charge.

Rates are quoted in US Dollars and inclusive of the following benefits below:
- Welcome drink and cold towel upon arrival
- Daily breakfast
- Daily personal car & driver for 10 hours exclude petrol

- Broadband internet access
- Airport pick-up service
- Government tax and service charge

Seasonal Periods:
High Season
•July and August 2010
•From 18th December 2010 to 3rd January 2011

Minimum Stay:
Low Season: 3 nights
High season: 5 nights
Peak Season: 7 nights

Check in/out time
- Check-in time: 14:00; Check-out time: 12:00.
- Late check-out (day use) until 18:00 is at additional charge of 50% from 1 (one) night villa rate and subject to availability

Booking term and condition:
- A 50% deposit from the total rental value must be received by the villa within five (5) of working days after confirmation of reservation has been given due to secure the booking.
- Outstanding balance is required to settle at 30 days prior to arrival for low season booking and 60 days for Christmas/New Year bookings).
- The reservation to be confirmed when the full payment is received by the villa Management
- For last minute bookings (within 1 week or less prior to arrival), full payment upon arrival in cash is acceptable.

Cancellation Policy:
1). Notice of cancellation must be received by the villa on writing either by
Fax or email prior to arrival at the villa.
2). Deposit will be refunded in full less US$300.00 unless the booking is cancelled at 45
days or more prior to arrival in Low season and in High.
- Peak season booking should be notice at 61 days prior to arrival.
3). In the event of reservation is cancelled exceed from notice periods above, and
however the deposit has been paid will be non-refundable and full payment from the
total transaction is obligate.
4). Balance Payments is non-refundable.
