Finalists from the three countries, namely Indonesia, Vietnam and India will begin competition in IT contest Travelers Go!. In this event 12 finalists IT Travelers will explore Indonesia, India, Vietnam and Taiwan in free travel for 21 days. During the trip they are equipped with IT Travel Kit of gadgets made in Taiwan will compete creativity in sharing the experience gained while adventuring through blogs, videos, and posting images on a variety of social media. They will compete for prizes of U.S. $ 20,000 provided by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA).
When the release of the participants in Jakarta, Friday (14/10), Mr. Walter Yeh as Executive VP of TAITRA stated that this contest will encourage more people to try a variety of IT products from Taiwan and prove the superiority of the product in a better lifestyle and satisfying.
Cathy Sharon, Taiwan Excellece ambassador in Indonesia, which is also present in the release is to give encouragement to the 12 finalists. “This program is an innovative idea for young people. Do not just enjoy the free trip, but also to train the advantage of working together in teams so that you can be a winner,” says Cathy.
Team Indonesia was represented by four young travelers is Yasmin from Bandung, Rachmat from Pekanbaru, Arif from Yogyakarta and Ivan from Denpasar. Finalists are selected from the three countries after 6000 outperformed other contestants in the contest, which began last July.
